City to Estuary Tour
Nature at it's best
If you're looking for a taste of what sea kayaking has to offer, look no further
than our City to the Estuary half day tour.
Spend your time learning the basics of sea kayaking while enjoying the serenity of nature within the hustle and bustle of Christchurch City. Sea kayaking down the Avon River, you will flow from the City center and through 'Red Zone' suburbs, and into the Bexley Wetlands where you will see the majority of bird life. This tour finishes where the river meets the abundant Estuary with great views of the Port Hills.
With a break in the red zone to stretch the legs and have a snack along the way, this is an enjoyable sea kayak tour for all.
All tour participants must provide their own transportation to the City to Estuary starting point. Transportation will be provided to return you to the starting point after the tour has concluded.
